One thing that has been helpful for me is to take a few moments each day to really focus on my feelings and give them the attention they deserve. I’ve found that consciously thinking about what I’m feeling makes it easier for me to recognize when things are going wrong or when something needs to be adjusted in my life. It’s also helped me become more aware of the positive emotions and experiences in my life, which can help create lasting happiness and fulfillment.

Another practice I’ve implemented into my routine is setting aside time each day just for relaxation and self-care. Taking moments to breathe deeply, journal, or enjoy simple activities such as reading a book or taking a bath gives me the space needed to reflect on all the positive experiences I’ve had that day and helps me stay connected to my inner self. Additionally, starting each day with a brief moment of gratitude helps put me in a more positive mindset and encourages me to find joy even in the small things.

I’m also learning how to be kinder to myself by treating myself with love and respect instead of criticism or judgement. By speaking kindly and being gentle on myself, I’m able to create a safe space for processing my emotions without feeling overwhelmed or discouraged. And when it comes down to it, I am learning that I am enough as is––I don’t need anyone else’s approval or validation
