6 years ago I made an exciting decision πŸ₯³

On the 18th of June 2013 I left my position as a language teacher and started as a special education teacher. Best job ever! πŸ™πŸŒΉπŸŒΉπŸŒΉStill the same work place though, I have worked at the same school 12 years now and it is the best work place ever. 6 years as a language teacher and 6 years as a special education teacher. πŸ™

Even more appreciation at work πŸŒΉ

Today was the last day of school for my students. They were all so happy and sweet. One student came with these beautiful roses for me and many many students came up to me just to let me know how much they appreciated me. Talk about an amazing day 😊.

This has been a wonderful Friday at work, I am so pleased and satisfied with this day.

As a beautiful bonus, I will meet my best friend tonight for a couple of hours. I really look forward to that too. 🌹 🌹 🌹

  • I hope your day was really nice as well.

A beautiful gift of appreciation

I feel so appreciated and valued, being a teacher is such a rewarding job. The best part of my job is helping my students feel better about themselves and helping them succeed with their goals – to see their joy in their eyes and the relief they feel when they accomplish something that matters to them, that is priceless.

I have had a wonderful day at work. There is such a relaxed atmosphere here now that all exams are over and our students only have 4 more days until their summer break begins. I truly love my job, and I feel so appreciated by all my bosses, co-workers and most of all by my students.

One student gave me this beautiful gift of appreciation today, he said he was so thankful for everything I had done for him.

Even though I love my job, I am so thankful it is only 8 days left of this semester. I look forward to getting a very long break from the school building. Time to find relief, find my balance and regain my strenght.

Soon I will relax, recover and replenish my energy – only 12 workdays left πŸ™

There are only 12 workdays left of this semester, then my summer vacation will begin 😍. I will be free from work for 7 weeks, which I truly, truly look forward to. I am so happy that I have managed to keep working 100% every day, even after everything that has happened. However, I feel like these 7 weeks of summer vacation will be exactly what I need right now. I really need a break from my work, from the school building and most importantly from Friday’s at work. These 7 weeks will be my time to relax, recover and replenish my energy. πŸ™

Solitude is as valuable to me as the very air I breathe

Solitude matters, and for some people it is the air they breathe.”

– Susan Cane

I feel the best when I am alone. I value my alone time so much, it feels like my entire being finds peace in those moments. Solitude is as valuable to me as the very air I breathe. Without it I would perish. I am hardly ever alone so when I get a few moments of being completely alone – I really enjoy it.

At work I am surrounded by my students and my co-workers at all times and at home I am surrounded by my two little babies and my boyfriend at all times πŸ˜‚. I love my job and I love my two little babies but I love my alone time just as much.

It is important to make time for things that replenishes your energy, daily. It doesn’t have to be big things, little things can be just as valuable. And we are all unique, and we all like different things so listen to your body and seek that which replenishes your energy.

A nice Friday πŸ˜Š

This Friday at work has been really nice. I had lots of students who came to me asking for some extra help, even while I was having lessons with other classes – that is so nice! This happens every day. I feel so appreciated and valued by my students as well as by my bosses. One of my bosses even came to me after lunch, while I was helping some students, and asked how I was feeling. I truly have the best job ever.

In a few minutes I will go to JΓΆnkΓΆping with a friend. We are going to eat dinner at a restaurant and just have a nice evening together. I really look forward to it.

  • I hope your day has been really nice as well and that you will have a great weekend.

Never alone – always surrounded by love πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

I have had a magnificent day at work. It is so wonderful to work as a teacher, it truly is such a blessing to help, guide and inspire students. When my last lesson of today was over, my wonderful students did not want to leave and they asked me if they could stay with me for a while and play a word game. 😊 Of course I said yes and they stayed an extra 40 minutes and we played hangman together on the white board. 😊

As always, the best part of my day was coming home to my two little babies again. I feel so much love for them. No matter where I go or what I do, they want to be close to me. πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

I feel surrounded by love at all times. πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

  • What did you enjoy most about your day?

A successful Friday πŸ˜Š

Today felt really nice. I had a great day at work with lots of awesome students. As I was having one of my classes a couple of students, who were not in that class, knocked on the door and asked if they could join us. How sweet is that! It happens almost every day and there are lots of students who do this. Such a nice way to show how much they appreciate my help. Being a teacher is the best job ever.

But of course, the best part of my day was coming home to my two little babies again. There truly is no place like home.

A bonus with this evening was that it started to rain, which is my favourite weather. I always feel extra good when it is raining outside. πŸ₯°

Now there are only 6 weeks left until my summer vacation – incredible! Time has finally begun to pass a bit quicker again. I am so looking forward to my summer vacation – 7 weeks at home with my babies, feeling safe, secure and at peace. Best way to end the first half of this year. πŸ™ Stronger and stronger.

How you feel when you spend your time is more valuable than the time you spend πŸ¦‹

It is quite important to feel good about what you do – whether it is what you do at home, on vacation or at work. How you feel when you spend your time is more valuable than the time you spend.

I have enjoyed 10 days at home with my two little babies and my boyfriend. We have had our Easter Holiday week and it has been absolutely wonderful. I love my two little babies so much, and it is so cozy to be able to spend so much time with them. However, today it is time to go back to work and that feels awesome too because I love my job as well.

I work as a teacher and I have worked at the same school for 12 years now. I began in August 2007 and it truly is a magnificent job. I have always had magnificent bosses (I think I have had 7 different bosses during these 12 years) who always appreciate me and see my value. I have had hundreds of different co-workers and they all treat me with such kindness and respect. But most importantly, I have had thousands of students and it gives me so much positive energy to support them, help them and guide them. My students are the main reason why I love being a teacher. To be there for them, listen to them and help them see their own strenght and possibilites, that is magnificent. When you love what you do, going back to work feels awesome!

  • How do you feel about your job? Take a moment to think about your job and see if you can list all the things you like and enjoy about your job.

Remember that how you feel about what you do actually matters more than what you do. And how you feel is something you can affect no matter what is going on around you. Make the best of it, and it will always get better for you.

Practice saying no with a light heart πŸ™

Be kinder to yourself, you are doing the best you can. You have to listen to your heart and give yourself enough time each day to breathe and find your inner balance. Let it take time. Learn to say no and practice saying no with a light heart.

You are the most important person in your life – how you feel should matter more than anything. Of course you want to be of value and help others, but you have to take care of yourself first.
