A very intense evening at work πŸ˜‚❀

Today was a magnificent day at work. The weather was still pretty cold so a chose a warm outfit for today.

When I went to pick up my babies from the day care center I took them with me back to work. We had to “work” late today = play games and enjoy a barbeque, so I thought it could be fun for my babies to join us.

They had a lot of fun πŸ˜‚ and I had a really good time too, even though I spent 100% of my afternoon running after my babies instead of enjoying the games and the barbeque. Woudnt have it any other way. ❀❀❀

This is just a fake train track for one of the programs at my school, and my babies loved playing there.

When the principals were holding speaches we all sat and listened patiently and quietly (for a few seconds at least). πŸ˜‚β€β€β€

Are you living the life of your dreams? Are you having the body you desire?

Are you choosing words that strenghten you? – words of praise, appreciation, likes, approval, optimism, fun and love…?

Or are you choosing words that weaken you? – complaining, worry, fear, disbelief, negativity, hate and pessimism…?

The words you speak, the thoughts you think and the concersations you have with others – no matter the topic and no matter how true or justified you are in what you are saying – either strenghten you or weaken you.

It is way more than just words! It is practiced focus of your energy. Are you letting it flow freely or are you blocking it?

If you are not sure – just look around you. Are you living the life of your dreams? Are you having the body you desire? Are you happy? The answers will let you know how you have been using your thoughts and words so far – up until this moment.

But what you are living can change, it can improve – and it starts with the thoughts and words you choose.

After a day full of talking and listening

A really nice day β˜‰

Today was an awesome day. I had a lovely early morning with my babies and then a really good day at work. My students are so much fun to work with and it is absolutely magical to see them beginning to believe in themselves. It is such a rewarding job.

My co-workers were so nice, they surprised me with a slice of pizza while I was helping a student on my lunch break. So thoughtful. 🌸

But the best part of my day was coming home, changing clothes and spending the rest of the day with my babies.

An awesome day at work

I have had the best day ever at work. I had so much fun with my magnificent students, they are so much fun to work with.

I forgot my lunch but my boyfriend came and surprised me at work with my favourite burger and fries.

It was a really productive day at work, I got so much done and everything just worked out so easily. But the best part was of course when it was time for me to go home 😊.

I wore my winter boots again because it is insanely cold here for being almost May. But I still use my spring jacket so it is just an insanely cold spring. 😊

How to solve all your negative, emotional patterns

Sometimes all you need is to take a step back, take a deep breath and allow yourself some time to relax. You are the main character in your life and even though people around you might want you to do a lot of things for them – you have to decide whether you want to do these things or if you want to do something else.

There is no value in trying to please everyone at work, at home and all your friends while you burn your own candle at both ends. Give yourself a moment to relax and find your own inner peace. Ask yourself what matters most in life for you. What do you want to do with your life? How do you want to live? How do you want to feel? Begin in these general terms in order to generate general answers – it is a lot easier to begin in a general way if you have been in a negative emotional place, too caught up in the specifics of the situation. So, keep going general in your questions: What matters most to me at work? How do I want to feel at work? What do I enjoy most? Continue to ask general questions about the topic you are thinking about. If it feels slightly off, then you have gone too specific too soon. Just back away again and think about your life. What matters to me in life? What brings me joy in life? And so on.

You don’t have to solve all negative emotional blocks all at once, nor can you. It is enough that you give yourself a gentle, relaxing break mentally and that you go more general in your thinking until you feel better.

Don’t do things that feel off to you – don’t just smile and say yes when every inch of your being wants to scream no! Say no and walk away! Honor yourself, care about what matters to you. Listen with love to your body’s messages – if it feels off, it is off.

There is no value in forcing yourself just to please othersstart being real, listen to your inner guidance and follow what feels better to you.

The attention, work and love you give from a place of feeling good and honoring yourself, that is valuable attention, benefical work and satisfying love.

“I want to quit my job” Yes I am very sensitive – it is a gift β€

Today I got some hurtful criticism from my boss that brought me to my knees. At first I was furious because it felt so unfair. And now I just feel sad about it.

My co-workers were so supportive of me and tried to sooth me back into feeling better. They were on my side and thought my boss had acted without taking the time to get all the facts straight first. I used to think he was a supportive boss but right now it feels far from that. Even the thought of resigning from work has occured to me tonight.

But, I will work on regaining my emotional balance again by focusing on the bigger picture. He really does mean well. He really does know I do a great job. He cares about his teachers, he wants them to feel satisfied with their work. I do feel rather good about having him as my boss. He cares a lot about his students. He wants our students to succeed and feel good. He also wants to do a good job and meet the expectations of others. I think I understand him now, I see the bigger picture. I really do value his caring and his decisiveness. 🌹

It does feel better. I feel like I can breathe again. Writing is one of the best ways I know to find relief and feel better.

I want to stay at home with my babies forever β€β€

Relaxation, relief and rest. Those words describe my Sunday night. I am so happy I will be home with my babies an entire week now until I have to get back to work again. I wish I could stay home with them forever. ❀❀
