Intense inner pain and sadness – a practiced perception

Sometimes it feels like the world is a cold and lonely place, like your life is useless and you feel such intense inner pain and sadness. Those are the days when you should be even kinder to yourself, let yourself know that it is ok. How you feel is how you feel, make peace with it. Then acknowledge that it would be nice to feel a little relief and that you look forward to that. See this moment as a perfect moment to distract yourself with anything you can think of. You only feel bad as long as you think thoughts that feel bad. If you distract yourself with something else, you can distract yourself from these sad thoughts and when you do, you will feel relief.

It is actually a lot easier than you think. All it takes is 17 seconds of distraction and you will begin to feel better. Unless you choose to continue to think these painful thoughts. It is impossible to feel good when you think thoughts that feel bad – so that is where your work is: distract yourself until you feel relief.

But be kind to yourself! Feeling sad can be a habit, a habit of thinking. But even a habit is nothing more than a practiced perception, a practiced way of thinking. Once you begin to change the thoughts you think, ever so slightly, you will begin to see lasting changes in how you feel and what happens to you as well.

What if I fall in love with the right person at the wrong time?

What if I fall in love with the right person at the wrong time? What if the one I am in love with is already in a relationship? What if I fall in love with someone else while I am married?

Love is beautiful. Love is such a strong, wonderful feeling. Anywhere you stand can be the perfect place to stand. Look around where you are and make peace with things as they are. Find the best feeling aspects about your situation and let those be your dominant points of focus as you think of your life.

It is not possible to be standing in a wrong situation – you are where you are and it has to be ok. You feel the way you feel and it has to be ok. Never judge yourself for feeling the way you do, allow yourself to feel all of your emotions and make the best of wherever you might be.

There is no such thing as a one and only true love – millions of people could be the perfect love for you. It all comes down to how you are choosing to view the other person. You can see the best or the worst in everyone. What you choose to focus on is what you notice more of.

You can’t miss your chance of true love because your chances and your opportunities are endless. Begin by making peace with where you are. It is ok, it is all right. You don’t have to make any life changing decisions – just make small decisions along your way that you line up with. Make the choices you make the right choices for you by focusing on the positive aspects. Anything you choose can be the best choice for you because the choice – or the person – is not what makes the difference. Your thoughts about your choices is what makes all the difference.

Love the wrong people?❤

Your job is not your job

Your life and how you feel – THAT is your job. How you choose to view every topic, how you see yourself and others, how you feel about what you do…your attitude, your beliefs and your thoughtsyour job is so valuable because YOU are in CHARGE of YOUR LIFE and how YOU FEEL. If you are sad and unsatisfied with your life, it is up you YOU to DO something about it.

Start with the easiest things such as the little daily things you do. Be more deliberate with your choices and choose to make the best of what ever it is you have to do. Be easier on yourself, be kinder and more pampering to yourself. Begin treating yourself like someone you really like and stop listening to the uncomfortable things other people say – this is YOUR LIFE, how you feel is YOUR JOB and YOU CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT!
