Value your safety, value your protection – but don’t let fear darken your heart πŸ™

Fear hurts you more than the situation itself. When you fear something you focus on what could happen, what he could do to you once again but nothing is happening right now, so why would you waste your now by focusing on a fearful scenario in your mind? Totally wasted time.

Yes, he might seek revenge one day. Yes, he might hurt you again. He might even try to hurt you even more next time. But he is not doing it to you right now. So why feel bad now? Perhaps he never tries to hurt you ever again, perhaps he has changed his ways and lets the thoughts of you go. You don’t know. Even if he wants to hurt you again, it is not certain that he actually can.

Value your own safety, value your protection but don’t let fear darken your heart. Believe in the goodness in everyone. Choose to make peace with what ever happens, trust that it will be alright, have faith in yourself and your strenght – you can handle what ever comes your way.

My soul is restless tonight, I feel a longing, a calling to go far away. Far away from this city, from this country, far away from all memories and haunted thoughts.

My body is restless yet exhausted to the brink of despair. My mind is crowded and too loud, I long for stillness, peace and quiet darkness.

The grass is greener where you water it πŸŒ±

It does not matter if you are rich or poor, if you have all the things you have ever dreamed of or if you do not have anything at all – how you feel matters more than anything.

Being fullfilled and successful in life is not about what you have, what you can do or how much money you have – to me, being fullfilled and successful means way more than just mere possessions. To me, it means being happy, feeling good, enjoying life and loving being alive.

I have friends who go abroad on holiday several times every year, who also own beautiful new cars and have a lot of money – some of them are happy but some of them are really unhappy and depressed. What you have and what you own does not equal your amount of happiness in life. Sure, you can do a lot more if you have a lot of money – but how you feel is always an inside job and you can not fix how you truly feel by buying new and exciting things. Things only affect your emotional state in a shallow, short term manner, you have to do the inner work as well. The grass is always greener where you water it, and how you feel always depends on the thoughts you choose to think.

Drop the victim mentality – a change is needed, a change in your perspective

It may seem impossible at times, but it is always possible. There is always hope, there are always endless possibilities coming your way and there are magnificent improvements to every single situation there is.

It may seem dark and gloomy where you stand right now, it may seem as if you are all alone and that all hope is lost. Under these situations your asking for improvements gets stronger and more intense – but as long as you keep looking at what is, keep complaining, keep worrying and keep feeling like a helpless victim, you will continue to stay stuck and suffer.

A change is indeed needed, but the first change that needs to happen is in your perspective! Nothing in these circumstances need to change in order for you to feel better. If you can find a way to think differently about the situation, the situation will change as well. And you are 100 % in charge of your perspective, what you think and therfore you are 100 % in charge of how you feel, regardless the circumstances.

Feeling sad, frustrated, powerless or insecure is not wrong, you are not a bad person just because you are negative – it is natural to feel awful when you experience awful and unwanted things. But you don’t have to stay in that limiting emotional place! If you shift the way you look at it, how you feel will shift as well- and as a beautiful bonus, the situation will improve too.

Do you have something that makes you feel sad, worried or insecure? Then you have been thinking a lot of negative thoughts regarding that topic, that is why it feels so bad.

You can begin right now by just gently being aware of what thoughts you think. Fake it until you make it? Yes!

Some people claim that all programming of our beliefs is done before the age of 7. After that, everything we do and everything we get in life is because of those beliefs we hold in our subconscious mind.

It is really exciting stuff and it all comes down to the fact that the thoughts you choose to think and the perspectives you choose to have affects everything. Every single aspect of your life, including your body and your health, is a direct reflection of the beliefs you hold. Beliefs that were programmed into your subconscious mind before the age of 7 – but you can change it. A belief is nothing but a thought that you think a lot, and you can choose new thoughts on every topic that matters to you.

You don’t have to go back and try to figure out what went wrong and what negative beliefs you might have been programmed with – just look around at your life right now. In what areas of your life are you living what you desire? Well, in those areas you hold positive beliefs. In what areas of your life are you struggling? Well, in those areas you hold negative beliefs that affects the results you get.

So… how do you change it? Is it even possible? Of course. Just choose new thoughts that match your desired outcome and keep thinking them a lot, every day. Maybe even buy a notebook and write them down every day. Look at people who have what you desire, imagine having it, being it and doing it. In this way you will begin to reprogram your subconscious mind to accept new positive beliefs. And once your subconscious mind has accepted these new beliefs, it is a done deal.
