When you feel lost in your panic – go slower, breathe through it and sooth yourself back ❤️

When your heart is racing with panic, you have only one job to do: sooth yourself. What you think and fear when you feel lost in your panic is not real, just shadows in your own mind. Breathe through it and trust that this too shall pass as you sooth yourself back.

Nothing matters more than how you feel. If you feel stressed, worried, anxious or any other unwanted emotion – go slower and sooth yourself more.

Getting some distance is good, and very healing ❤️

Taking a step back from all the chatter of the world can be very healing.

You didn’t break me, you only bent me temporarily

If you thought you could break me, you were wrong – I have been through much worse

If you thought you could silence me, you were wrong – the thruth will always be heard

If you thought I would forgive you, you were right – I will always believe in the goodness in everyone

The one who hurt you gave you valuable gifts that no kind person could ever give you 🙏

🌹You don’t know strength, until you experience the unbearable.

🌹You don’t know kindness until you forgive the unforgivable.

🌹And you don’t know peace until you find it in your heart to make peace with everything that happened. Completely. 🙏

The one who hurt you the most, who brought you to your knees and shattered all your sense of security – he gave you valuable gifts that no kind person could ever give you. His behavior inspired you to find your inner strength, fill your heart with kindness and sooth your body by making peace with everything.

My body is not a statement of what others can or can’t do to me. I have a right to be myself in all my magnificent colors – and so do you. ❤️

No matter how dark, lonely and scary the experiences you went through might have been – you can still rise up stronger, happier and more in love with life because of it all ❤️

All of your past experiences are of value – just like the soil is valuable for the flower to grow. If you have been through lots of difficulties in your life, you can use those experiences as inspiration to adapt, change and grow stronger as a person.

The same goes for the negative memories of your past, just shift your perspective of those memories. You can look at the abuse you went through as something very painful that shattered your sense of security and made you feel powerless – or you can look at the abuse as an experience that inspired you to work on loving yourself and loving your body more.

There truly is value in everything that happens to you – no matter how dark, lonely and scary the experiences you went through might have been, you can still rise up stronger, happier and more in love with life because of it all. It is a matter of perspective.

Can all things be forgiven?

To forgive someone – no matter how much they hurt you – is not about that person at all but about you and how you feel. Forgiving is about making peace with what happened, making peace with the other person´s hurtful action, making peace with the powerlessness you felt in that situation and making peace with your pain, your fear and your sadness.

You don’t need to talk to the person who hurt you, you don’t need to tell him that you forgive him – just gently make peace with it in your own mind. Do it for you, as a valuable step in your own healing journey.
