Don’t give up, even the darkest of moments will pass πŸ’–

The past years have been rather dark for me, not as pitch-dark as the first 24 years of my life, but still. Each new day is a step in the right direction.

Never give up, no matter how hopeless and dark your life might currently seem to be – it will pass. In the meantime, distract yourself as best you can. Reach for things that make you feel better and allow yourself to be soothed. For me it is delicious food, music, massage, sex, working out and trying on clothes that make me feel better. These things make me feel better temporarily, while I work on my thinking at the same time – one small step at a time. I will never give up. πŸ’–

Your past made you who you are today but your NOW is even more valuable πŸ’–

Your past is of value because it made you who you are today. But your NOW is even more valuable because you can choose to NOW let go of all hurt, all pain and all feelings of being a victim, you can let go of all guilt, all blame, all resentment and all insecurity and begin to replace those emotions and thoughts with hope, optimism, self-love, kindness, respect and appreciation.

NOW is the only time when you can change. No one else can do it for you, only you. Choose to let the success stories of others inspire you, and begin right now. One small though at a time, be gente, kind and loving toward yourself in the process.

Feeling like a fit mother of two little babies πŸ’–

I am loving this summer vacation! I wish it would never end – that I could stay home with my babies until they are all grown up. πŸ’– I love them more and more each second.

I have not been to a gym for over 5-6 years now, however, I work out a little at home. I follow some workouts from the former fitness model Belinda Benn – an awesome woman with an empowering story – and I do these exercises at home on the carpet while my two little babies eat their breakfast. I do these workouts 4 times each week and they are rather quick, around 20 minutes so it is easy to incorporate in our morning routines.

A smile and polite words can hide so much pain and suffering. Never judge a person by the external irrelevant stuff you see – there is always so much more to the story. Choose to love yourself and others unconditionally.

When contrast is so in your face you just want to run away and hide from the world… remember that you are the most valuable aspect of your life.
