From raging insecurities to strong empowerment ðŸŒ¼

No matter what you look like, what body type you have or what clothes you have – people will look at you and some will judge you. There will always be those who love the way you look and those who completely disapprove of everything that you are. Let them think as they choose to.

The beautiful part about life is when you finally give up trying to please everyone else, when you finally shake loose from caring about their disapproval or approval. There is so much freedom and empowerment to be felt when you start giving yourself the love and approval you previously tried to get from other people and external things.

It is a process. It takes time. I began working on this 12 years ago, when I was 24. I have come such a long way, I went from having no self esteem what so ever, from feeling like a helpless victim and feeling I had to please everyone around me in order to deserve to be liked a little – I went from all that to really liking myself, inside and outside no matter what other people think of me. I began to appreciate life, to appreciate all experiences – especially the bad ones because they helped inspire me to now become stronger.

I would not even be the happy, confident and empowered woman I am today without every single bad thing that ever happened to me. So I am grateful, for all of it. My entire way of viewing life is 100% different from how I viewed life 12 years ago. If I can change all these limiting insecurities, anyone can.

And no, the external things didn’t change before I felt better. I still look exactly the same way as I did before, I have the same job, the same relationship, I have still gone through all those awful things in my life that left me on the brink of despair – and I have since then gone through even more negative experiences in all aspects of my life. And yet here I am, happier and stronger than ever. Loving life, loving my body and feeling appreciation for every step along my way. Feeling appreciation for every rascal that ever hurt me because I am who I am today because of it all. It is an endless journey that I intend to enjoy. 🙏

A relaxing evening with my best friend ðŸŒ¹

Last night was really nice. My friend came home to us and we went for a very long walk, rather late. It was very warm outside and there were lots of people every where who were celebrating the evening. There had been a huge car meet up in Nässjö and lots of beautiful cars were cruising along the city streets. A perfect evening.

It was so nice, I didn’t even stop to take a picture because I was enjoying it so much. 😊 However, when we were on our way home I took a picture of these beautiful flowers that smelled divine.

I feel blessed for having such a kind and caring friend like I do. I love that I can always be myself and relax when I am around here. She has so much goodness within her and I always feel safe and secure when I am with her. We always have a good time no matter what we do. 🙏

I feel so satisfied with my life â¤ï¸

I feel really satisfied with my life. It is Friday today, and I feel good. This evening I went out to a café with a friend. The weather was really nice so we sat outside. I was so hungry I ordered two meals (the one you see in the picture, and then one more exactly like that one 😂) it was so delicious.

As we went back home it really dawned on me that I feel good – really good – about my life. I have so many things to be grateful for, I have experienced so many things already and I feel so good in my body. I am genuinly satisfied with my life. That feeling is so beautiful. 🌹

All you have is this moment, spend it in the most satisfying way you can ðŸŒº

If you could do anything you desired to, what would you do? Where would you go? Who would you be with? What would you eat? How would you feel? Take a few moments to enjoy the idea of this.

Life is supposed to be enjoyed. Life is an adventure and a journey, and you are the one who get to choose what you fill your life with. No matter where you are in life right now, what you have been through or what circumstances you are in at the moment – make peace with your past and your present, appreciate what you have and allow yourself to dream big and take pleasure from your imagination.

All you have is this moment, spend it in the most satisfying way you can. 🌺

Treat yourself to the things that excite you

What makes you feel good is valuable and beneficial for you. Allow yourself to eat and enjoy delicious food, listen to music that makes your heart sing, be close to the people you love and treat yourself to the things that excite you.

Life is supposed to be enjoyed, you are supposed to have a good time and nothing matters more than how you feel – and when you feel good you will be of most value to those around you as well.

Getting a soothing massage ðŸŒº

I am so looking forward to Saturday 🥳. I will go to a Spa with a friend for a couple of hours and get a massage. It will be so warm, nice and relaxing. I used to go get a massage every now and then but it has been completely off my list of things I even think about doing for quite some time now. However, I think it is time to start letting my body relax and trust again.

After the massage we will relax in the warm bubble bath. To top it all off, we will go to a nice restaurant afterwards for a lovely dinner. It will be such a cozy, soothing and pampering day. Just what I long for. 🙏🌺

Life is short so make the most out of every day. You never know how long you have left so why not lighten up a little. Have more fun, every day! Don’t make such big hairy deals out of everything! Be more playful about it all. There is no point in wasting your time on complaining, defending or arguing. This is your life, you get to decide how you live it. Do you want to feel good? The best part of my day ðŸ¥°

I have had a wonderful day today. I feel so appreciated at work and so happy at home with my babies. I really want to take a few moments to list my top 3 best things with today:

1) At work a student told me that she really wanted to continue having me as a teacher next year because she really values me as a teacher. What a nice thing to say!

2) My babies and I had the best evening ever! We played games together and had so much fun.

3) I got a few hours of “me-time” since my boyfriend works nightshifts this week. I adore getting some time completely by myself, especially during the late evenings.

Take your time, allow yourself to blossom into the most beautiful, strong and happy version of yourself. You decide who you want to be. You decide how you want to feel. This is your life, you are allowed to shine as bright as you desire to.

No assignment, no problem, no person and no situation is more important than your own wellbeing. If you don´t feel good, everything else will be negatively affected. If you feel good, everything else will be positively affected. It starts with you, with how you feel. How you feel affects everything. It even affects what kind of people you meet, how they behave but most importantly how you react. So, it is very valuable to care about how you feel – first. Make it your top priority to be kind, gentle and patient with yourself.
How can you make yourself feel a little bit better right now? Is there something you can do, say or think that can give you relief? If there is, then do it. If there isn´t, relax. You will feel better again eventually, just decide to be kinder to yourself and try to distract yourself as best you can.
