The most difficult choice I have ever been faced with – and I have not decided yet πŸ˜…

Ok so the contrast is still here and I have a few days left to make up my mind. I know what I want, I know what I don’t want – but, and this is a very big but: my boyfriend wants the exact opposite of what I want. That is where my dilemma is;

Shall I follow my heart and do what I want or shall I respect and honor my boyfriend’s wishes… I really don’t want to do something that goes against everything he wants…. but I really don’t want to go against me either πŸ˜‚.

I try to see the situation with a little bit of humor. It truly feels like a lose, lose situation although I KNOW there are only choices you line up with or choices you don’t line up with – and if I make one choice the best choice for me, it will be. I know, logically, that it doesn’t matter what I choose because if I focus on soothing myself into relief and eventually into feeling good unconditionally again, it will work out beautifully well for me. I know these things, but I am in an emotional place right now where I don’t quite feel so at ease and balanced about it any more. And that is ok! It truly IS OK to freak out when things don’t go your way. Your negative emotions are not bad or wrong, it is just guidance letting you know you are splitting your energy = you have a desire that you are currently opposing with lackful thoughts. And that is so true because I don’t just focus on me and what I desire, I focus just as much on my boyfriend and what he desires. And since our belief, wishes, desires and emotions regarding this situation are in complete opposition… it is an emotional tug of war.

So no, I have not decided yet. I don’t have to decide today or tomorrow anyway so I will try to relax about it a little. ❀

What if there are no wrong choices?

All the choices you have made has brought you to the place where you are now. Whether you see some choices as wrong or bad, you are where you are and NOW is where all your power is.

Be kinder to yourself! You truly are doing the best you can, whether you know it or not. Stop viewing yourself or your choices as bad – begin to appreciate yourself and your preferences. It is right for you to have preferences! It is right for you to like some things and dislike other things. It is right for you to have wishes and desires. It is perfectly alright for you to change your mind and desire something else.

Nothing has gone wrong – you are where you are and this is the perfect place to begin to value your preferences and listen to your heart’s desires.

How to make the right choice when your entire future depends on it β€

First off, play it down. Don’t make it such a big hairy deal – because it isn’t. No matter what. Your life will always improve no matter what choices you make, as long as you make the best of where you are, have an open mind and stop second quessing your choices. Just choose one thing and think about all the positive aspects with that choice – make it the best choice for you, for what you desire right now, and it will be the best choice for you. It is that simple.

There is no value ever in beating yourself up over what you might call mistakes that you have made or that you are making. Instead, sooth yourself by acknowledging that you are always doing the best you can given the knowledge, understanding, awareness, beliefs, desires and emotional state you are in at any given moment.

So, what choices are you faced with right now? They might be small, every day choices, or seemingly bigger ones. Just start to lighten up about it. Relax. What ever you decide to choose, make it the best choice for you right now. ❀

You have all the power you will ever need within you. It all comes down to the thoughts you think. Even beliefs you hold are nothing but practiced thoughts. You can choose slightly different thoughts every day – if you want to.

Make how you feel your top priority. How you feel is always an accurate reflection of the balance of thoughts you are currently thinking. You are supposed to thrive! You are supposed to enjoy life and feel good. Yes, life is all fun and games. ❀

All things that happen give you a valuable gift – everything can be viewed from a better-feeling perspective β­

Everything can be viewed from a better-feeling perspective. Everything. It is all just a matter of focus. Even the seemingly bad or evil things that happen – they all bring with them a wish and a desire for how things should have worked out instead and how they should work out next time. Give all your focus to the new desires and wishes that are born out of the contrast and you will have shifted your perception enough to be a part of the solution instead.

Are you focused on the solutions, the opportunities and the positive aspects or are you focused on the problems and the negative aspects? These are only different perspectives of the same topics.

Everything has positive and negative sides to it. How you choose to view the topic, the experience and the behavior will determine how you feel about it and what you attract from it.

Begin today to listen to your own inner dialogue and to the words you choose when you talk to others. Where is your main focus? Is it on the solutions and the positive aspects? If not, begin to shift your focus ever so slightly in a comfortable, relief-giving way.
