It is so freeing when you realize that it is not the other person or the event in and of itself that are causing you so much stress – it is your own thinking, your own perception, that limits you. And that is something you can change – right now – whether the event or the person changes or not.

When you realize the power to change is in your hands you will no longer give that power away and feel like a used victim anymore – you will embrace your freedom and empowerment, do the inner changes and outer changes you feel called to. That is true bliss.

Let them have their opinions – this is your life, your happiness and your choices. ❀

Let all your past experiences fuel your inner desire

You are under no obligation to be the same person you were 10 years ago, 1 year ago, 1 month ago, 1 week ago or even 1 day ago.

Who you are is based on the thoughts you choose to think now. You can always begin to choose other thoughts that more accurately reflect who you want to be, now.

Your past is over and done with and need not affect you negatively at all. You can choose to let all your past experiences fuel your inner desire and let it inspire you to focus more clearly on who you now know you want to be and what you now know you want to experience. ❀

The key to a joyful, fullfilling life β€

Give up your anger, your frustration and your complaining. Just give it up.

With every negative word you speak you are pushing against yourself – so just give it up.

Allow yourself to enjoy more, allow yourself to have more fun. Allow yourself to be more playful and easy going. And most importantly: allow yourself to feel good now, without any of the conditions around you changing.

That truly is the key to a joyful, fulfilling life. To be able to choose to feel good unconditionally. When you are able to feel good – no matter the circumstances – the circumstances will change to match your inner emotional state as well. ❀

Love being who you are

Embrace who you are in all your unique splendor. Never try to dim or change your light in order to fit in. Love being who you are. We are not supposed to look the same, we are not supposed to have the same personalities, we are not supposed to like the same things.

We are all unique and beautiful in our own ways – life is supposed to be enjoyed in ways that call you. And only you can know what calls you. But you have to listen. Guidance is always with you, always within. But if you try to dim your own light in order to fit in, you also dim that voice within. But only temporarily, the moment when you begin to care about how you feel and what you like – you will feel your inner guidance stronger than ever again. ❀

Anger management – a reliefgiving perspective

I love this quote because it says so much. There is no judgement or punishment outside of you – the real punishment is the negative emotions themselves and the toll they take on your mental health, your physical health and everything else that matters to you.

Harboring anger, letting it grow within and letting it burst out from your every cell – that is extremely detrimental to you.

Even though you think life sucks and that you think those aspects need to change in order for you to feel good… even though you feel completely justified in your anger – it is still very deterimental to you. Let it go. See your anger as hot inner flames that you are choosing to breathe out when you feel them burn within. Let the cool, clear and fresh relief wash through you and cool you down, gently. It is not worth it – just let it go.
