Please be kinder to your body

You are so much more than what happened to you. You are not broken, fragile or weak. You are strong. The utter powerlessness and panic you felt when you were abused are normal and natural reactions to such unnatural circumstances. The fear and sadness you felt afterwards are also normal and natural reactions to such a traumatic event.Please be kinder to your body, give it time to heal. Feel free to withdraw from everyone, recharge and restart as many times as you need to. Listen to how you feel and give yourself time. Another year, a decade or a lifetime.
