Endless tears have silenced my voice and shattered my heart

The storm came and broke my delicate branches

Endless tears have silenced my voice and shattered my heart

The cold and hearless winter kept me frozen inside

however, spring will eventually come and new, stronger branches will emerge

There’s an old truism that I found myself telling our eldest daughter after a spectacularly messy end to her first serious relationship – that you never really appreciate how good “good” is, until you’ve experienced had bad “bad” can be.

This poem is so sad, yet so inspiring. That’s so beautiful.
