Up all night πŸŒ•

Tonight is one of those nights I am just filled with sparkling energy. It is impossible to even think about trying to go to sleep. I love these hours when everything in our house is dark, quiet and still. The only sound I can hear is the soothing sound of my boyfriend sleeping next to me.

Nights like these I just don’t want to end. I wish I could stay in this lonely, dark, quiet night for a couple of years. It would be lovely with some time just for me. ❀

I hope you are having a good night as well. 🌸

What a great wish! ✨ If I had peaceful moments like that, I would have enough time to write a novel! Oh the possibilities! Some of my best poems were written at 3am in the morning.

I too love nights, but sadly the sound I normally hear is my husband snoring which is soooo loud. 😴 When he’s not living with me for months at a time, the quiet, still, darkness makes me anxious. I begin to hate nights and adapt a morning owl lifestyle when I’m on my own. We are in a long distance marriage and he is only with me for a short couple of weeks.

It is in the quiet moments, when our minds have time to ‘chill and Netflix’, that we consider the scariest of our dreams. We imagine fantastical places and relationships. These are the times when our minds also breathe. You should sleep fancy lady. The cerebral spinal fluid helps to clean your mind when you sleep. Warm milk or a hot-tottie. Better yet…read the poet shadow…LOL. He’ll bore your eyes shut. Much love.
